Hello,

a bit about me:

-Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year.  I am sure that this year will be filled with excitement, accomplishment, and learning.  My name is Jessica Rabon and I will be your child’s ESE math inclusion teacher this school year.  This is my fourth year teaching at Holley Navarre Middle School and fifth year teaching ESE.
My teaching career start back in my sophomore year of high school at Baldwin County High School.  I started taking Early Childhood courses as an easy grade.  I ended loving the classes and took more while in high school.  My senior year I was awarded Excellence in Family and Consumer Science for my school.  I graduated in 2007.  Shortly after graduation I worked at Cokesbury Children’s Center as an afternoon teacher’s aide.  In the fall of 2007, I stared Pensacola Junior College as an Education major.  I graduated in the winter of 2010.  In the spring of 2011, I transferred to the University of West Florida as an ESE and Elementary Ed. Major.  I also changed jobs and started working at Marcus Pointe Christian Center as a kindergarten aide.  My senior year at UWF I joined a year-long internship at Brentwood Elementary as a 5th grade teacher.  I graduated from UWF in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in ESE/Elem Ed/ESOL/Reading.  That August I started my first teacher job as a kindergarten teacher at Montclair Elementary.  I stayed there for two years teaching 3rd grade my second year.  In 2015 I transferred to Gulf Breeze Elementary School as a 4th and 5th grade ESE and Inclusion teacher.  During 2016-2018 I was an ESE Self-Contained teacher at Gulf Breeze High School.  For the last three years I have been at HNMS as a math inclusion teacher.
I was born and raised in Pensacola.  However there was a short time that I lived in Clear Springs, AL.  I came back to Pensacola after graduating high school.  I am married to my high school sweetheart, Justin.  He works at a boat dock repairing them and he loves to cook.  We have a daughter together, Maggie, who is 3.  We also have a dog, Darla.
